My friend had diabetes and they started taking a shake called a vi shake that they ran across on this website www.hotbodyn90.com and the went from taking insulin three times a day to not taking any at all. there is a lot of you tube videos out there that talks about the vi shake and how people who had diabetes lost weight and either lowered there insulin intake or came off of it all together. check out the site it might be useful to someone.

Hi, I see that your blog focuses on diabetes and wanted to share some information with you about a new monthly diabetes test that may reduce or even eliminate the need for blood glucose testing, especially in type 2 diabetics. The test uses a biomarker called glycated albumin (GA) which gives you more frequent feedback than what A1c can give. Just so you know, I work for the company that is currently developing this test. The product isn’t out of the market yet, but we are trying to spread awareness about the benefits of glycated albumin testing. Please follow us on twitter (http://twitter.com/Epinex#) and facebook to stay up to date on the latest diabetes news and developments on how GA can help. The company website is www.epinex.com. My grandmother told me all the time when I was a kid that if I kept eating sugar that I was going to get diabetes I didn’t believe her. I thought it was one of those things that parents just said to keep you from doing things they don’t want you to do. I WAS WRONG!! It’s still scary and it makes my life difficult. I can’t do the things I used to do. But it has done some things to help me. I’ve become more proactive like I cook now which is fun! I always bring my own foods to my friend’s parties and they actually like them. =) It gets easier every day. I used www.diabeticcare.com to order my supplies they made things easier.
